Our Qualifications

With Ron BlueAfter twenty years corporate experience which included six years as Controller, nine years in Internal Audit and a stint in Mergers and Acquisitions, I went into full-time practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 1993. In 2000, I obtained my securities registrations (Series 6 and 63). In 2001, I obtained my Life and Health insurance licenses. Last, but not least, I earned my Series 65 license in 2016.

I am registered to offer securities in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, as well as other states. I am also an approved Investment Advisor Representative. I am insurance licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, as well as other states. 

I hold a B.S. degree in Accounting that I earned in 1973 from Fordham University, Bronx, New York. I also hold an MBA degree from Pace University that I obtained in 1982. I hold a CPA license in the state of New York.

I recently (2019) retired from my professorship at Nyack College, where I taught for more than thirty years at the undergraduate and graduate level, and where I created and developed Nyack's accounting major. Since January, 2020 I have been teaching accounting at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York.
